The same applies to State Farm Insurance who will gladly insure your home or auto for a fixed monthly fee (I pay about $125 each month). And what about your smartphone? After purchasing your Apple iPhone or Samsung Galaxy for a fixed-fee, Verizon, AT&T, British Telecom and other service providers worldwide will charge you a fixed monthly unlimited talk and text fee (Note: We will discuss the "upsell" potential each of these three options provide in our next post).
